Kome on

It is 'come on' with K - Federer's only expression when he hits a great shot to get himself out of trouble.

I saw the both the finals between Djokovic and Federer. The first one was at Montreal a few weeks back and the one at US open, today. Djokovic played flawless tennis to win the first final. But it will be more apt to say that Federer lost the match himself, by making a lot of unforced errors. Today, despite the shaky start, Federer managed to win the match in straight sets. He wasn't at his best form. But still managed to win. Yo! Congrats Federer!

This US open series turned out to be great from my point of view. This is the first time I watched so many matches and followed the series right from the start. I followed and watched almost all matches played by Federer in the Roger's Cup and in the US open. I was able to watch almost all the important matches in the US open. I watched Venus and Serena getting clobbered by Henin. Roddick's usual defeat by Federer. Watched James Blake, Isner, Donald 'Duck' Young getting kicked out the US open (Fuck you! US Commentators! All the Current US tennis players SUCK! Don't try to glorify them before the match and push them down when they are kicked out the grand slam). Watched Haas' five set win. Followed matches of Sahar Peer, Chakvadatze...was sad to see (16 year old) Pazek's loss against Chakvadatze (Pazek looks very much Indian - Her father is of Indian origin). Watched Djokovic's imitation of Sharapova and Nadal in the center court.........list goes on.....

"[Djokovic], it was brutal [defeat by me]. You are a wonderful player. You deserved much better than the staight set [loss against me]."
- Federer, After winning the US open final

Who else other than Federer can make such a statement against one of the finest players of tennis. As the US open media says, "Federer is the 'Tennis God' and may be the best player ever in tennis history".
