Yo! Thalaivar's movie, Sivaji: The Boss (that explains the title of this post) will be released very soon. Trailers are out - can be viewed at:

Thalaiva, All the best! I am sure that the movie will be a great entertainer and soooper-dooooper hit.

Wish I was in India, to see this movie with Parvathi-the-witch aka paru (my sis) and my mom or my friends. Even after growing up, we have the same enthu, when watching a thalaivar movie.

Reminds me of
- Gandhi Bhavan Common room - the hullaballoo created by the entire tamil population of the Bhavan (including the studious ones) when Baasha was screened on SUN TV that Diwali. Junta taking aarti of thalaivar... the scream "Baasha Baasha"... the terrorized look on the Gults' face....
- My fight with the "Innovative Multiplex" owner, because his crew gave us the "Chandramukhi" ticket for the night show, instead of the evening show...my stinging comment and the sarcastic smirk that I gave him... My fear that after the night show, his "gundas" are going to hunt me down...
- The claps and screams of Parvathi-the-witch during the first scenes of Rajni in the chandramukhi movie...

Some of us may be engineers, doctors, PhD students, MBA students or bankers, we may have hit the "quarter-century" mark, but we will always remain rajni-fans.
