Jog to fitness

I restarted my 'street-jogging' today. Till 5 or 6 weeks ago I used to jog religiously for 25 minutes every evening along the 14th and the 16th street. Then I got sapped out of all my energy and stopped this routine. Then I started going to CRC and started working out. I tried working out in the evening and then in the morning. I wasn't satisfied with this new routine. I gave it a break and restarted my older jogging routine. Wow! it is a nice feeling to jog. I feel so light and healthy again.

My Million Dollar question: WHAT IS THE BEST TIME TO EXERCISE? MORNING or EVENING?

Well, I was searching an answer for this question for past 2 years. For most part of the time I was jogging in the mornings. Only in the past few months, I have been jogging in the evenings. I feel that it is better to exercise in the evenings (Well! at least for me).

- If you exercise in the morning, you will be tired for the whole day (I felt sleepy in the class/lab after the morning exercise)
- If it is in the evening, you can hit the bed early and wake up fresh in the next morning.
- Exercising in the evening means "taking bath twice in the day". Not a good option if you have perennial cold (I have this. But WHAT THE HELL? I don't care)
- Eating well is very much required when you are exercising/jogging every day. I should start balancing my diet well with the energy that I spend. (It is tough to find a good balancing point. To add to this, I have started to hate cooking! Only God can save me in this "walk on the rope" business.)
- I can try to go to the work/lab much early in the morning now. It's peaceful when there is no one around me. (PonP is a loner and a jerk....and a sadist)

Reminds me of the tamil poem by Bharatiyar.

"Kaalai yelundavudan padippu...
....................................
maalai muludum villaiyattu..."

(study in the early morning... play all the evening)
