PNS - PNS is Not Sambar

PNS is Not Sambar. It is popularly known (to a small group of people) as Pullila-Curry [Pulli (tamarind) illa curry]. Everyone (in this small group) loves Pullila-curry.

This is how you make it.
1) Boil vegetable of your choice (preferably Brinjal or drumstick or Avarakkai (Indian broad beans) with red chilli powder, turmeric and salt.
1.1) Cook toor dal.
2) Allow the water and vegetables to boil.
2.1) Add the cooked toor dal to the boiling mixture.
3) If you don't have a mixer grinder, Buy one. It is very useful. If you have got one, then proceed to the next step.
4) Add shredded coconut, 1 or 2 red chilli, black pepper, cumin seeds (jeera), few cloves of Garlic and (preferably small) Onion to the Mixer Grinder and Grind the mixture into a fine paste.
5) Add the mixture to the boiling concoction mentioned in Step 2.
6) Boil it for some more time and then leave it in medium-low flame for some more time.
7) If you have more time and you are not very hungry, add seasoning to the the curry. Even otherwise it doesn't really matter.
8) THATS IT. PNS aka Pullila-curry is ready.

PS:
1) I know! The way I have given the Recipe is sloppy! I haven't mentioned the exact amount of ingredients and the time to cook. As Penelope Cruz says (in the movie 'Woman on Top'), "Measure with your senses. In time you will develop a tactile memory for just the correct amount of ingredients"

2) After the initial review of this post, I have added 2 more steps to the recipe. These steps (1.1 and 2.1) are mandatory.
